Welcome Nigel, the axolotl, to the Critter Crew of the Grimshaw Municipal Library! He joins guinea pigs, Cinder and Luna, Biggie the corn snake, Bill, the aquatic clawed frog, (and sometimes Reggie, a less sociable hedgehog) in their important work of inspiring curiousity and bringing joy to library staff and patrons.
We are fortunate to be able to enjoy our library pets, and recognize their places in the community. Many patrons asked about them while the library was closed, and students love catching a glimpse of the animals over Google Meets when story time is finished.
